Wheddon Cross is at the junction of the A396 and B3224 in West Somerset. Exmoor House is in the centre of the village, opposite The Rest & Be Thankful Inn
Leave the M5 at junction 25 and head towards Minehead on the A358, passing through the outskirts of Taunton. After passing the Cedar Falls Health Farm, turn left under the railway bridge onto the B3224 signposted to Wheddon Cross and Raleighs Cross. Follow this for about 14 miles, bearing right at the Brendon Hill Methodist Church to remain on the B3224.
From the south or west:
Pick up the A396 at Tiverton and follow it up the valley (mind the pheasants!) all the way to Wheddon Cross.
Note: if you're using sat-nav, we'd advise you to check the route against a map too - we've found that sometimes they send people the long way round.
